Witchy poo box

How kewl is this little Paper Shelter Image that i purchased - i colored her using flexmarkers/promarkers & spectrum noir pens. I made the box using a nestie die top and bottom and just made a box to stick the top and bottom to.

this is the side view of the box - i filled it with cadburys mini eggs sent it to my sister Wendy and said - I made this and thought of you - LOL

Stepper Cards

These are some stepper cards that i made for last months card social - the first two were for my Nieces birthdays - Charmaine is a small peeps nurse and Nickie is an electrician at legoland - i used Mo Manning digi images and colored them with flexmarkers/promarkers & copics - the last one is a new home card using a couple of magnolia images that i have had stamped for ages - enjoy kym xx

Box Card

This is the sample card that i have made for the May card social at the green - the ladies are going to make the basic box and card then they will have to decorate it in their choice of embellishments - hopefully next month i will have piccys of the finished boxes to show you -

This box card came from a cd i purchased years ago from copperknob crafts - its my version anyways.The decoupage is a betsy lurvink fairy (3 different designs) which i have also had for years - the flowers came from Wild Orchid Crafts - the hat pin i made myself and i used a tim holtz mini paper rosettes die for the rosettes and the cheery lynn fanciful flourish die.The lace is from my stash.The butterflys on the top of the box are a Martha Stuart punch.

Eileens card

I made this card for my friend Eileen who i love dearly - she is really not very well at the moment - the chemo is making her really ill - but i am hoping it will do the job it is meant to do - Eileen was hoping to reach 100 cards while she is unwell and some of the amazing friends and cardmakers that i know made her cards which Eileen thought was wonderful - i think at the moment she is at 104 cards.

Eileen is such an amazing person - she has been raising money for St.Helenas Hospice for years - she doesnt deserve to be this poorly but she does it without complaint - fingers crossed everybody - thanks

i think the blush is a little red on her bottom as my son said had she just been spanked when he saw it - lol

Stepper Card

Hi all - this card is a sneak peek at one of my samples for Aprils Card Social - which is our monthly get together - I have cardlifted from a magazine called Papercraft Inspirations Issue 97 - the original card was designed by Jacqui Dennis - the first piccy is from the magazine

The next few piccys are my version of this card which also used the freebie image from LOTV -

This is the box i made for the card coz it was too fat to fit in the envelope LOL

As you can see i have used doilies - punches - flourish die - and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts - the lace is from my Aunt and i made the Hat Pin - i colored the image using my spectrum noir pens except for the skin which was done using flexmarkers.

Todays Cards

Hi all in blogland - Tuesdays for me are get together days with my lovely card making friends and to be honest with you i usually spend more time chatting and giggling and drinking tea that i very rarely actually make a card - well today was a good day i made a couple of cards so i thought i would share them with you.This first card is a variation of a beautiful card that my online friend Jane sent me it is a stamped flourish with jewels stuck to it a very less is more card - totally out of character for me LOL.

The next card was an idea from my friend Sue - i think she said she saw something similar on a load of old Pickle blog - it is a lovely idea - it is achieved by scoring your card (i used my Hougie Board) and then simply mattering and laying - the embellishments that were used were a cheeryLynn flourish and some punched flowers with gems(i got mine from Mei Flower) in the centre - my sentiment was produced on the puter but you could use a stamp or peel offs - Thanks Sue you're a star

Mo's Digi Stamp

Hi again all you bloggers - i am back from dancing and decided to put this birthday card together - i have used a digi stamp from http://digitalpenciltoo.com/ - i colored the image with spectrum noir pens and letraset flexmarkers - the papers came free with my simply cards and papercraft magazine - the flourish is a cheery lynn die the broderie & lace came from my stash and the brad came from wild orchid crafts - thats probably it for today - ya know none of the cards i have made today have ended up the way i imagined them - go figure

Pink Card

Hi Guys - i cannot believe it but its the 4th March and its snowing here - i hate the snow really really hate it - i know that sounds quite strong but its true.

Well i have been doing some more coloring with my new spectrum noir pens - i have to say that they are not bad pens at all - except i seem to have a lot of trouble getting the lids off - on the other hand i have trouble getting the lids of my flex-markers as well.

This card is the end result - The image is from http://www.funkykits.co.uk/catalog/ and its stamped with memento ink pad - the papers are from a g.c.d studios pad called Rose Colored Glasses - i have used spellbinder nesties and labels dies - also a paper doily and the lace was gathered by me and made into a circle and the flower is from WildOrchid Crafts. as usual let me know what you think - Kym xx

Hi Guys - you know i think i should stop checking out Jak Heaths blog - it keeps costing me money - lol - once again Jak did an amazing card with a wee stamp digi image - so off i popped and made my purchases - and this is my effort - i have to say that i am quite impressed with myself - i also used my spectrum noir pens from crafters companion and also some flex markers from letraset - hope you like it

Hi again Guys - 2 posts in one day sacre bleu - well i purchased a Victoria Case Digi image which i heard about on Jak Heaths blog - great images for guys - i decided i had to use these flexmarkers that i purchased from sunrise crafts - i am not all that good at coloring but hey we have all gotta learn yeah - this is my attempt wadya reckon????

I purchased 3 different images - so i am really looking forward to having a go at the other 2

Paper Piecing

Hi Guys - i decided to have a go at paper piecing - you know where you stamp your image onto pretty paper and cut the pieces out and stick them onto your main image - hope you understood all that - LOL - well this is my paper piecing attempt - the coloring is done mostly with flexmarkers and the odd promarker - i need more flexmarkers.

well that was my first attempt at the paper piecing - then the tuesday girls decided that they would like to have a go so i thought we could do one at the card social tomorrow - and this is my other card i made.

I am now going to have a go at making a boy version - let you know how it goes later - Kym xx

My First TP Mini

Well i kept seeing on blogs and such like people were making mini albums from empty toilet rolls - you know the cardboard inner bit that you throw away - so i decided that i would have a go - this is my first attempt - i am well pleased with myself - i think it is a lovely little album - i just need to get some photos in it and then i can decide who to give it to.

I made some more Dreasel cards which as you know are easel cards with drawers - the ladies that received these cards loved them and i really loved making them.

There is only one problem with all these photos - i am so busy looking at the cards that i forgot about the messy craft room that you can see - lol lol.

Cyprus Paperbag Mini Album

This is the album i made for my wonderful Sister-in-Law - Dor lived in cyprus for about 5 years but she is now back home in the UK - She really does miss it at times so i made this album for her so she can visually enjoy her memories - it was very stuffed when i had finished - i made lots of photo mats and tags and pockets it was such a pleasure to make.

40th Birthday Paperbag Mini Album

This is the paperbag mini that i made for my sisters 40th birthday in 2011. I have to say i am totally addicted to making these mini albums - i have a few more lined up for the next few months - i will probably end up boring you all with them - I was going to make it a purely black & white album but some of the photos were so nice i ended up doing colored photos as well - I was really pleased with the album when it was finished and my sister loved it.

I hope you like viewing my cards and albums - perhaps they might inspire you - that would be great to think that i might inspire someone to craft.

A Few Cards

It has been a long time since i did any blogging - i kinda forgot that i was blogging - i was doing too many other things - but over the last week or so i have finally got round to making some cards so i thought i would share them on my blog.

These 2 cards were inspired by a card on Jak Heaths site - i am not very good at coloring so i cheated a little - i purchased 2 sheets from CUP that were done by Lisa Baglietto and i cut 1 image from the sheet and used it as you would a digi image - they dont look to bad huh.

This is a Teddy Bea card - i bought the card kit from Aimee Ashers site but it is a Kizzy Designs card kit - you can make these up just as you print them off or you can add your own extra embellies - that is what i did with this card - i put some lace up the side and i backed the 2 panels with card then i used pearls and some flowers which i got from Wild Orchid Crafts and IAmRoses - i wish Kizzy would make up some more of these kits using Teddy Bea & Bo.

This is a card i made from the Polka Doodles CD called Sweet Stuff - i love these little images and the papers are so yummy - the flowers all came from Wild Orchid Crafts.

This card is one my friend Sue has seen on Less is more site (i think its that one) Sue is trying to make me see the error of my ways LOL LOL - less is more is not the way you would describe my cards i think LOL LOL - but i loved this card.

I made this card for my friends Mum - i bought the sheet from CUP added a few embellies and it was done.

Well i can finally share Jill's Album with you all - i have really enjoyed making this album especially knowing i was giving it to somebody special - I did not put any photos in the album - the idea being that Jill can pick the photos herself and write about them on the journalling tags that i put in the pockets - the papers used were Tinker & Co downloads and i purchased the album instructions from ebay - i hope you like it all comments welcome good and bad - Jill certainly liked it - Kym xx
